EMBERS & IRON — PRODUCT WARRANTY POLICY

Effective Date: 1 June 2026 Applies To: All Embers & Iron products purchased from embersiron.com.au or authorised retail partners

1. OUR COMMITMENT

At Embers & Iron, we build products to last. Every grill grate we make is designed, tested, and manufactured to withstand the most demanding open-fire cooking environments in the world. Our warranty is our promise that if something goes wrong with the quality of our product, we will make it right — simply and without fuss.

2. WHAT IS COVERED

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase

Covered defects include:

  • Structural failure or breakage of the grate frame under normal use

  • Weld failures or separation of wire intersections not caused by misuse

  • Premature corrosion or rust under normal care and storage conditions

  • Manufacturing defects identified upon receiving the product

3. WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including heat discolouration (blue, gold, or bronze tones are a natural result of high-heat use and are not defects)

  • Damage caused by misuse, accident, or failure to follow care instructions

  • Damage caused by use in conditions exceeding the product's rated specifications

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect the product's functionality

  • Products purchased from unauthorised resellers

  • Loss or theft

  • Damage caused by improper storage, including exposure to coastal salt air without adequate protection.

4. HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM

Making a warranty claim is straightforward. To lodge a claim:

  1. Email customerservice@embersiron.com.au with the subject line: Warranty Claim — [Your Order Number]

  2. Include your proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)

  3. Include a clear photo or short video showing the defect

  4. Provide a brief description of how the issue occurred

Our team will respond within 2 business days to assess your claim and advise next steps.

5. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER A CLAIM IS APPROVED

If your claim is approved, Embers & Iron will at its discretion:

  • Replace the defective product with the same or equivalent model, or

  • Issue a full refund of the original purchase price

  • Where a replacement is provided, Embers & Iron will cover all reasonable shipping costs associated with returning the defective product and delivering the replacement.

6. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

7. INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES

For products purchased outside of Australia through an authorised international retail partner, warranty claims should be directed to the retailer from whom the product was purchased in the first instance. Embers & Iron will work with authorised partners to ensure all valid warranty claims are honoured in accordance with this policy.

8. PROOF OF PURCHASE

A valid proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. Embers & Iron recommends retaining your order confirmation email or receipt for the duration of the warranty period
