The Embers & Iron Grill Rack is made from solid 310 stainless steel—no chrome plating, no coatings. . Unlike common 304 SS racks with chrome layers that can chip, rust, and contaminate food over open fire, our rack stays clean, strong, and safe up to 1200°C. Throw out the rusty rack - you deserve better!

  • Max operating temperature up to 1200°C (2190°F) in continuous service

  • Excellent oxidation resistance at sustained high heat; forms a protective oxide layer

  • Low distortion under cyclic heating and cooling

  • Retains strength at elevated temperatures

  • Up to 870°C (1600°F) in intermittent service

  • Good corrosion resistance but prone to scaling above 900°C

  • More prone to warping and stress cracking over repeated high-heat cycles

  • Strength drops rapidly beyond 800°C
